im so happy last night before i turned my tank light off and went to bed my fan shrimp was out of it usual hiding place and walking/swimming round the tank, it hasnt really came out too much but maby it noticed that the female beta was gone. i sat there on my computer chair watching it for a good fifteen minuits. then thismorning i turnedy light on to feed my fish and it was out again. it stopped comeing out i thaught because it liked sitting in its hiding place but i think it was that female beta that scared it into hiding. when i got up i told my father he came up to watch my fan shrimp or drummer boy as my pareants call him.

If you do plan on getting a whole tank full make sure to take the time and read about each on on the Shrimp Varieties link on the left. Many of them need different water conditions and if you throw any Macrobrachium into the mix all your smaller shrimp would more then likely become snack food.

Big crays would carve them up, and all crays that I know about need hard water, and vampires are a soft water species.
