i have what i think is a pair of Macrobrachium assamensis it was sold as "Chameleon shrimp" but i found a picture on the web taken by Mr Mustafa and its seems to be Macrobrachium assamensis..
anyway i noticed today that the larger one is full with eggs (is that the right defenition or is it rom?)
According to the Shrimp Varieties section "Breeding of this shrimp happens almost "automatically" as long as proper conditions are given (i.e. clean water, food etc.)." Please read the entire profile as it will give you best water conditions, foods, etc .
Hope you have shrimp babies soon and you can always ask gabs about what to do with the babies !
