I have an adult 16"+ M. Rosenbergii. For weeks now he hasn't been eating the usual diet of algae wafers i've been throwing in, or anything i've tried to feed him. He usually goes nuts when i toss in food, now I would just net it back out. Yet, he has been pooping non-stop (like a large pleco). My question is what do u think he has been eating?
It's been about 5 months, since March. Maybe it is about time for him to molt.
Yeah, I use to feed him everything, from meat to vegetables to fish food to wafer, then he got picky and would only eat wafers, that was a few months ago.
But how would he poop constantly without an outside source of food?
I have nothing else alive in that tank. I have not introduce anything in that tank besides the prawn since I got the tank. That's why I'm so curious. He's probably feeding off of algae, and maybe that's why my tank's so clean of it.
