Fruit for Shrimp?

I was wondering if I could give my shrimp a supplement/treat of fruit. I was thinking mango, apple or maybe pear,-nothing too fancy. I need to know if this mess with my water quality or hurt my shrimps.

They will eat just about anything in SMALL amounts. Any quantity and you end up with foul water and dead shrimp.
