Color on Atya gabonensis

Post by Cicci »

I have four A. gab in a tank about 90 gallons. They eating very well have a lot of hidingplaces but 2 of them are very pale almost white whit a little blue on the head. The other two are brown. They are 5cm and have lived whit me for 2 weeks. Why the white color?

I have some pale ones too. As far as I know it's common with young ones. Eventually they color up, but not until they're a bit bigger.
