views of my 10g RCS tank

Post by JohnPaul »

Hi all, new to this, just finishing setting up my RCS tank (hopefully will become a breeding tank, we'll see), sharing this mostly because a lot of you gave me some great input that went into how I set this up.

Getting my shrimp later this week so if you see any red flags in the tank right now, let me know. :D Currently it has 3 guppy fry and 1 ghost shrimp in it, those are temporary just to create/maintain a little bioload until I get the RCS.

First, a shot of the whole tank (a bit blurry)
Image
A close up of the left half of the tank, showing a big anubias sitting on top of a pretty cool piece of driftwood (notice the hole through the center of it, plus another on the bottom right that forms a nice small cave with the sand).
Image
Third, a shot of the right half of the tank, showing another really cool piece of driftwood which I just stuffed full with java moss.
Image
Last, a shot of the back of the tank. Those are some vals, a bit sparse now but I'm figuring they'll eventually grow out and fill in some. I'll likely grab some more and plant them a little thicker in a week or two when my LFS gets some decent looking ones in again.

Once again, thanks to all who have helped me so far, and like I said, if anyone out there looks at these pics and is saying, "oh no, there's something really wrong with...", please let me know!

EDIT: grrr...none of the pics are showing up! I don't know why...perhaps they are too large? (They are 800x600 pixels). Kinda bummed, so if anyone can figure out the problem, that would be great...was looking for anything resembling a FAQ on posting pics but couldn't find it.

Just get rid of the "?v=0" after the ".jpg" file ending and your pictures will show up.
