plecos with dwarf shrimp?
I have several tanks of bushy nose plecos, most all longfin- there are no fish with them- can anyone tell me if caridina / neocaridina would live and breed compatibly with these plecos? The plecos cannot move super fast due to the extra long finnage..... I am quite certain that plecos will not eat healthy shrimp- my biggest worry is that the shrimp would need to be on their toes, as plecos tend to move in an unpredictable way. Anyone have experience? There are a few disadvantages I can think of off the top of my head- plecos love lots of current. Also, plecos put out quite a lot of waste. Maybe too much ammonia for the shrimp - or maybe it is ok in a well cycled tank....?

thanks for your opinions- these are breeder tanks with several ancistrus per tank. Well, the more I think about it, people feed live baby brine shrimp to plecos- so I do believe they may eat the baby shrimp, if they are given the opportunity. I know that plecos will not purposely go after any live food, but if it is on the substrate, and in their eating path, and small enough, they will vacuum it in. SO I guess I better to stick to my species specific tanks. thanks all !
