I found this website today looking for information about the freshwater shrimp in Sulawesi.

red tiger for real?
I also just love those black shrimp they have listed. I sure would love to have those and breed them.
There is also a shrimp called "Neuimport" Nashorn Garnele von den Philippinen" Is this a sort of freshwater shrimp from the Philippines?

Does anyone know any species of freshwater shrimp in the Philippines(ulang??)? If so pass on the info, I could find their status and try to bring some back for breeding, maybe.
Many lovely shirmp there that i have not seen here. I would love to see more shrimp enthusiasm in the USA. I know some of my freinds want to start colonies when they get their own place, so it feels good th spread the shrimp love. I cannot wait to see the varieties increase. It also breaks my heart to see the bamboo shrimp at the *Chain Store* beacuse either they will die there, or some kid will buy them and then they will die. I hate those places, they just leave the fish dead and a million tanks use the same water. Ugh, not to mention those shrimps are wild caught. I am sorry the general public should not be able to obtain WC animals to have "just for kicks". That is just my opinion. That is why i respect the breeders because they can take a WC animal, breed it, therefor preserving the species and make it avaiable to the regual guys. Thanks and keep it up fellow shrimp breeders, wether you are professionals are amateurs.
You guys and your crystal shrimp...those insane prices...That is why i love my ghost shrimp, a college graduate like me can afford them.
