I'm a newbie here. I've been lurking and reading trying to learn as much as possible. There's a lot of info here!
I'm about to get my first tank this weekend. I can't wait 'til Saturday!
Anyway, just wanted to say hi.

Thats exciting. Congrats.
Any ideas what you'll be adding to your new tank yet? What size of tank will you be getting?

I use "filter squeezings" to start up new tanks and can add shrimp withoin hours. I've never had issues this way. I have an extra HOB filter with a sponge in it I use.
