Yes, she is blue, but very deep. Keep in mind that we are at a very early part of this project. It takes years to get a true breeding blue cray. It is amazing to me that we are getting as high a percentage of blues as we have. Erie's getting 90%. I'm getting 75%. Probably in a year we'll have some true blues. I love the ghost blue color some of them have.

Actually the female just got up & walked off like nothing ever happened. The male on the other hand was a little angry and waved his claws at me. I'm sure glad he's an inch & a half.
As promised here are my crappy pics. Not that you can tell from picture but these are 80-90% blue. The blue varies and is more intense on some. Most of these are 3/4 inch in size. They definately look better in person.

Wow, are you kidding me? That is a great set of picture for putting into perspective the ratio of blue to other colors. It is also great to see so many crays in one area Keep up the great work

Yes at about 1 inch in size they will show their best blue. That is why some of the larger ones appear bluer. Some of these may stay ghost blue or ice blue also.
Yes they are more or less see through with a blue coloration. One of the group photos kind of shows this. It's better to see them in person to see this. If I had a better camera it would be easier to show everyone this. Maybe I will borrow my brothers and take some new pics.
