It depends on a few factors:
-# of shrimp/snails/other animals producing waste in the tank.
-How much you feed and food that is left in the tank after the feeding.
-What kind of filtration system you have working on the tank.
-The amount of time you can/want to spend on doing water changes.

I'm sure there are other factors but what this is saying is, "It depends on each individual". What you do want is clean water for your shrimp and you will learn how often and the amount of water you need to change as you learn about your animals. Be sure to use a good dechlorinator like Seachem Prime

Best wishes :!:

What are you asking? How often and how much water do you need to change? Something else?

How old are the babies and what plants/substrate/others do you have in the tank? Have things been going well so far? Don't try to fix what isn't broken

Just make sure there is not food left over after feeding, remove any that remains to help keep the water quality good. If you have the time, you can change the water several times a week (every couple of days or more if you want). Just don't do a large >50% water change at any one time. It is very important to use a good dechlorinator, I prefer Seachem Prime because it has worked for me.
