after that optimal water parameter can be reach by most of the experience shrimp keeper.

in my case all the CRS i see around here are bad quality (i am not talking about grade but health).
seem but i am not sure , they dont travel very well, specially oversea.

what other think ?
Actually they do travel well overseas. I know a member from Japan who sells these to people from the U.S and he has had no DOAs yet even after 5 days in the mail (from Japan to California  ) So I guess if you package them well enough they can survive very long trips :)

Those who actually see CRS around your LFS are very lucky. The only FW shrimp that I see in LFS are feeder Ghost Shrimp ... I wish they sold other shrimp (Even if I couldn't afford them) just to appreciate them personally even if they are not in my tanks. I too hope the prices drop but I am not in any hurry really because I just started with RCS.

I think that is a wise move. You can learn to take care of the great RCS before raising the other more difficult shrimp :smt023

By the way you are doing a great job with your shrimp log, it helps get people interested and discussing shrimpy business :-D

Thanks man, that is what I hoped! Maybe I will make the 5.5g a CRS tank in the future (I have a 10g to upgrade the RCS to).

Hi All,

I just purchased a breeding pair with berries, haven't received them yet (they will be shipped on Monday).

I will have to keep you up-to-date on how everything works out, the good with the bad... I sure hope that I have luck with these pretty shrimp. Keep your fingers crossed.
