Hey RS79,
Menagerie has a full tank of rhino shrimps , and I think they are all reserved for you.:-D I picked up 3 of them today. Hopefully they wont turn white and then die like my last batch. Harold has success keeping them in soft water. He told me some of them even turned blue.

In my experience, all the shrimps I've come across enjoy water with PH around 7. Acidic water seems harmful to their shell!

Mustafa, I do suggest you put this new "Red Nose" variety in your variety page for the following reasons:

1. let more people know this species exist
2. open up more channel to gather info. about this species
3. it is understood that these new info. gathered during discussions may not be too 'accurate' but at least some generalization can be formed as result.

pls. consider :o

Be prepared to spend big money. The pic above was taken with a camera that could cost you as much as $40 on ebay (Kodak DC265). A niukon 950 is as good if not better and is about the same price. Youabsolutely don't need a new one of a gazillion megapixels. I've had lots of photos published in TFH with a 1MP camera and you can't tell which ones that are and which ones came from 4x5 glass slides. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't done it.
