CPO Breeding Question
I had a male and female attempt to mate the other day. They were mating but the male only held onto her for a couple of minutes... could they have successfully mated in that time or did the female just escape his grasp?

Re: CPO Breeding Question
I have not seen mine mate as yet so I am not sure how long it takes but you should see berries soon if they mated.

Hallo,
as what i have read & also seen (observed) from my CPOs, the mating can take from 10 mins to even an hour! The female will choose when to release her eggs.
I have so observed it with my 2 female crays, the orange one released her eggs the next day after mating. My brown female released her eggs a week after! And that only when i transferred her to an AQ with lots of hiding places.
Now i am waiting when will the two have their babies??
