Re: Interesting shrimp

Post by southerndesert »

Hello Mustafa,

I have 5 of them in a 10 gallon and though I don't see them all at once I think they are still all alive. My findings behavior wise are the same as yours and these are very shy shrimp and stay hidden through the day. I really hope they will breed for me.

The other two odd species are also still alive and well (with Cardinals yet) There are two of the ones with the "different" body style as well as a lone shrimp of a different species.

Keeping my fingers crossed, Bill

i've seen preety simular coloured shrimp to those in germany called "goldflake" although it does seem like you've got a mix of cardinal and that to get that pattern, i think the large spot on the lower back should be yellow though.
