Red claw macros and loaches

Post by Kunsthure »

I searched and found one post but it was pretty general. This is for my 75g, which will be heavily planted. Would loaches be ok with red claw macros? I've got dwarf chains (sidthmunki) and kuhlis right now but I will be adding a third school, probably yoyos but maybe dojos. Would vampire shrimp or bamboo shrimp be ok with the red claws?

Yes and yes to both. The red claws only go after weak and sick fish. The filter shrimp are used to macros from their natural habitats...they literally kick them away with their front legs. The loaches will try to eat any red claw offspring that you may get in your tank, though.

Sweet! I guess I've found my main invert. How many could I have in a 75g?
