I noticed from your email address (which I can see as the owner of the website) that you are Denmark...hence, you are probably reading German websites about shrimp. The "k" classification for crystal red shrimp is exclusively used in Germany and was "invented" by two German hobbyists (brothers) who also own an online shrimp store. It's practically unknown in the rest of the world. The higher the K number the higher the grade. I happen to know because I am originally from Germany and keep up with what's going on there. This grading of crystal red shrimp is irrelevant in the rest of the world (although it may actually work better than the Japanese system).
