Green Water

Does anyone feed their shrimp with green water? I was thinking this would be cool to try out.

Although Supershrimp can filter water similar to the much larger freshwater filter shrimp, they do that very rarely and prefer picking at the substrate. So, in my experience it would not be very useful to feed them with green water.
