what do you do if you wish to mix cherrys with red fronts? do you add salt? what would be a good balance? or do you just not mix them?

Red fronts only need brackish water for their larvae. The should be fine in a full freshwater tank. Mine are.

Yes and no. They should be fine being kept together, however, you would have to set up a different tank for the red nosed larvae. You would have to catch them within minutes of hatching, and then move them to a brackish tank. Then you would have to have alot of supended foods, and wait for metamorphasis into a freshwater juvinel, then move them to freshwater. I hope this helps.
