Do supershrimp eat angel hair moss?
So do the supershrimp eat the angel hair moss or just the algae on the side of the tank? I know that they don't eat the macroalgae, but are they (moss and macroalgae) the same thing?
Re: Do supershrimp eat angel hair moss?
I'm not sure what you mean by "angel hair moss", but I'm guessing it's some nonsense, completely wrong description for some type of hair algae that someone came up with. In that case, no...these shrimp do not eat healthy hair algae...they do seem to nibble on decaying hair algae, though.
By the way...just a piece of advice...I have noticed that within a day or two of you signing up you posted over 40 messages to this forum, mostly one-liners, and many times just repetitions of what had been said earlier in the thread already (and a couple thread hijackings..which I deleted)... I know you're only 13, so you may not have much experience with these things, but I would suggest that you first gain some experience with these animals before attempting to give advice to others. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but that's really the way it is. You can't say much before actually gaining the experience. "I heard this or that..." does not replace experience and actual knowledge (with clear sources) and just unnecessarily clutters the forum.
