I know this is way off topic but i am posting at 7:55 pm NY time but the post is now 8:57 on this site. Is any one else off one hour?

You probably did not set your timezone correctly. Go to "User Control Panel", then click on the "Board Preferences" tab to set the right timezone (near the bottom of the page).
