opae ula in small containers.
I've noticed most people are keeping these little shrimp in tanks of a larger size. Has anyone ever kept them in small containers such as those sold at craft shows or fukubonsai. Do you have to set up a tank or can 5 or 6 shrimp live in less than 1 gallon containers. I was thinking of maybe getting the fukubonsai smallest unit.

I have not tried a container under one gallon. I know from my experience they breed in one gallon. I think one half gallon with 10 shrimp is worth a try. Five to six shrimp in a quart? I believe they can survive in a quart but thrive/breed? I just looked at a half litre bottle. Hmmmm?

I have a 12 with some snails in about a half gallon jar on my nightstand.
You can see them live at: http://209.6.131.4:1688
They are doing very well.

When I try your link it just spins forever and never opens up. I now have 10 in a rum bottle with a dead sea fan and after 3 weeks they are doing very well.

Thanks Ken...they are awesome and they eat constantly and inside their bodies is green like the algae growing on the inside of the bottle. I just love them...when I watch them, I feel happy and I didn't even drink the rum!!!!!

Since I updated the software on the IPCamera app it doesn't seem to work on mobile devices like iPads anymore. It will work fine on laptops and desktops. Remember the cam is off at night and turned on in the morning. So don't give up on it. I'm watching it all the time from my desktop computer.COTIGIRL wrote:Pealow i also cannot see BostonJill's webcam. Good luck on you rum buddies.

Too bad it does not work on mobile devices. My children monopolize the desk top.

I also use a mobile device...my husband monopolizes the desktop.

I'm pretty sure the camera is offline. I'm not on a mobile device and I can't see it either.
