Hairlike substance growing on rocks

Ive noticed short strands of clear hairlike things growing on my coral rock, could this be some kind of hair algae? Does anyone know what this may be? Or does anyone have it growing in their tanks too?

I can see it will be hard but can you get a photo or find a picture that is similar own on Google images?

I have a fair bit of white strands and mould looking stuff on my ocean rock which I removed with a nail brush and placed back In my tank.
