Any recommendations on lighting?

Any recommendations on lighting?
I've got a 5 gallon tank set up for some supershrimp, and pretty much all I need now is a light for it before it'll be ready. I just have absolutely no idea what will work, what's good for macroalgae, etc. Any recommendations on the kinds of specifications I should look for, or better yet a brand/model type that would work?

Erica, I'm sure there are many options but I've had good luck using Zetlight LEDs. I use their mini ZN1011 series on my two 3 gallon fishbowl tanks and their Nano series ZN1702 on my larger seven gallon cylinder tank. Link to Zetlight below. From what I've gathered, both lights generate natural sunlight wavelengths and I have very good algae / microalgae growth in all three of my tanks. The shrimp also seem to like the lighting as well. Both models are available on eBay. Hope this helps.

Albeit I don't think the macroalgae need any specialized lighting. Mine have grown well under cheap tank lighting and under the Fluval Eco Brite I use now.

I like led. Dimmable is nice. Keep it simple and keep it inexpensive as Varanus said there are no special requirements.
