Please advise on white worm that came with angel hair today

I just received a small clump of angel hair today and put it in my tank...but it did have a small tiny white worm with it which is now in my tank...Should I remove it (if I can, it may be too late) or please advise... Thank you

IMHO, Take it all out, the clump of algae and the worm. Go to Mustafas Petsrimp Store (Petshrimp Store link above) and buy macro algae. It's much better than any hair algae out there. If you read any posts he has written on the subject, Hair algae isn't recommended for Supershrimp because it's too dense and the shrimp can get entangled in the fine hairs and die.

Oh thank you! I did last night before I read your post..I took the angel hair out and it looked like the worm was hiding in the substrata and I believe that I cut it in half and decimated it so that's good. What the heck was that worm I wonder. At first, I thought it might be a super shrimp larvae, but, I guess not!!! Thanks for your advice.

A picture of the worm would have been nice. Otherwise it's impossible to say what it may have been. And yes, the hair algae you bought is no good for shrimp in the long run.
