First off I'd like to say hello and thank you for accepting me to your forum.
I recently received these shrimp from a friend. They were labeled as "Laos mountain tiger shrimp" and caught from the wild in Laos. I don't think they are "seratta" at all. It has been suggested that they are possibly a type of caridina. Somebody even suggested c.fernandoi but those are from Sri Laka. These are some pics I took of them. It looks like there is more than one species here. Any help with identifying these would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Help with identification of shrimp
Thanks for the pictures! Hmm...very hard to say from just pictures. It probably is a Caridina...but which one will be difficult to determine without taking one of these shrimp and looking at it under the microscope.

Re: Help with identification of shrimp
Thanks for responding! I was hoping that there were only a few species of shrimp which are endemic to the Laos mountain range. Hard to find any info on the internet about shrimp species of Laos. lol!
