Limited Full Sunlight

Hi everyone! My 1.5 gallon shrimp tank is getting direct sunlight every morning for about 45 minutes before the sun shifts and then it receives indirect sunlight for the rest of the day. I have no artificial light on my tank. I think it has actually helped my algae growth and does not seem to be harming the 20 or so shrimp I have. Do any of you have tanks that receive direct sunlight?

I have a few tanks about that size on my kitchen table that are in a similar situation but only during fall and spring when the sun is low enough in the sky to reach the tanks. There is nothing wrong with some limited amount of direct sunlight as long as it doesn't cook your tank. Small tanks can get overheated very easily.
