NEED ADVICE!!!!!!

Post by Cakelake »

One of my shrimp dropped a clump of her eggs (picture attached below) today and I was wondering if there was anyway I could save them. I’m not sure why the eggs die when they’re dropped but I assumed it was because other shrimp and snails eat them. Could I take them out and put them in a separate container or such? Thanks!!!

You can try to to put them in a different container but usually they fungus and die. I'd use some kind of very gentle airation close to the eggs.

So will they get eaten by the other shrimp if I leave them in the big tank?

Usually not if they're fertile, but the shrimp will eat them if they die and become soft.
