Discoloration?

Background: A few weeks ago I transferred 2 supershrimp from a bad environment (not ecosphere, but similar setup and effect) into a 1/2 gallon. I had some major cycling issues at first but luckily both shrimp survived and everything is now stable.

The shrimp are definitely healthier now - they're both noticeably larger - but one of them still seems to have some discoloration. One has always been redder than the other, but now it's much more pronounced. The one that's always been pinker is less active, and is almost clear in low sunlight - the spot behind her (?) head is very yellow. Is this a sign of stress or disease, or something genetic? I couldn't find anything about the causes of long term discoloration, especially since the water quality is good now and the other shrimp is so healthy. Any ideas?

Do you have a baseline comparison? Maybe that’s just the way it is...they come in all different shades. As long as it’s eating and swimming okay.

Update: after watching more closely, she does gain a lot of color when undisturbed, but her color is almost purple, with lots of clear bands (not quite like a purple zebrashrimp) When the tank is disrupted at all she turns 100% clear immediately. I guess she's just sensitive anyone else notice a color strain like this?

New shrimp come tomorrow, here's hoping they all get along!

I have red and lighter shades like pink and orange. Not purple tho.
