Hello! I'm a new member here but I've have been lurking around this forum for a while now

I decided to post for the first time because I'm hoping someone can help me out with a new tank issue!
I started researching about opae ula many months ago before I finally went ahead a purchased a small little jar of them from a local breeder recently. The jar was all set up by the breeder with substrate, decorations, and 4 little shrimp. However, I don't believe the jar has been cycled as the jar was newly setup just a few days before it was given to me

After I received the jar, all seemed okay for the first 2-3 days. My shrimp were initially pinkish and calm, which I believe is a good sign? This changed about 3-4 days later, as the shrimp became pale/white and most of them have been swimming around somewhat frantically since. I've had them for over a week now and they've been mostly pale/frantic for 4-5 days, only stopping for short amounts of time. I'm beginning to really worry, as I read that both pale and swimming frantically are signs of stress. I was hoping they'd settle down on their own but I also don't want to risk losing any of them. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do in this situation? Is there anything that I should do or is it best to wait it out?
Currently, all I've been doing is making sure that I leave the light on for at least 8-9 hours a day.
Thanks so much!
