Some up close and personal pics!
This is where I’ll post pics of my progress. My other thread was more for questions at the time. Sorry to make multiple posts. I bought a magnifying glass and decided to take pics through the lens. Learning and taking care of these guys are a lot of fun! Hope you guys enjoy!

That's really cool! I'm gonna have to try this.

Nice collection of pics.
I always find it striking how beady-eyed these guys are compared to "average" pet shrimps. Reminds one that they are technically cavern animals that have little use for their eyes.

Thanks guys! The snail has gotten really big. At least 7mm I would say. Here’s some more pics.

Those snails get even bigger in nature...think 70 mm.
I doubt it will get to that size with the limited food in a Supershrimp tank though.

Thanks! After doing more research I found out a few things. When the female is ready to mate, she sheds her exoskeleton and then the males go frantic looking for her. I came home today and besides observing the berried female, I noticed that like 6 or 7 of the shrimps are swimming around frantically and they’re pale in color while the rest are relaxed and red. Then I discovered the exoskeleton and I have a few saddled female. One does look a bit chunkier compared to the rest. Lol.

Thanks for the great pictures of that baby snail! Its as close to being "newborn" as can get. Congrats on the ovigerous female too!
Re: Some up close and personal pics!
Are the snails living their full life expectancy in captivity? Can they live their full lives if they don't grow to their "normal" sizes?

Found another berried female the other day! So my suspicions were correct! Or I’m just a lucky guesser. Lol. Here’s the best I can do with the 2 close to each other.
