Thank you! I moved my beetles home to work on a breeding project, and now the Opae Ula aquarium is looking pretty algified. Just a step in the process though.

Really nice setups! I especially like how you used a photo of the natural habitat for the tank background. I think I’m going to have to switch out the background for my tank now!

You can never have too many tanks. It is always "I don't have enough tanks".

Hopefully it’s ok to resurrect an old thread. 
I still have the same tank I show in this thread (as well as some that are older.) I’ve never done a water change, and there are probably a couple of hundred shrimp in this 5.5 gallon. There are usually a few berried females, and most often, some floating larvae. Here is a photo of a berried female from a week or so ago (lots of algae on th front glass, I have been feeding a bit too much
