lost all but 1 shrimp
I was reaching to open the window behind the shelf where my shrimp bowl is and unfortunately knock the spherical bowl off. I was only able to find 1 shrimp and a few snails. I do not have a seasoned habitat for it. Will it be ok to keep her in a new 1/2 salinity bowl with the few snails? Or should I start a new bowl separately and cross my fingers that she will survive long enough to get to her new habitat?
Re: lost all but 1 shrimp
New water is better than none I would say. One shrimp and a few snails have a minuscule bioload anyway. But I'm not sure what you mean regarding the options. That is I assume you would be keeping it in another bowl while cycling the second new bowl you mentioned.

yes, you are correct, should I cycle a second bowl and hope she will survive or is letting her in the new not-cycled bowl safe enough?
Re: lost all but 1 shrimp
I think by the time a second bowl is cycled, your bowl with the shrimp and snail would be cycled as well.

Well... The lonely shrimp died. It's hard to go from 30 + to nothing.

RIP...

I'm a bit surprised that you went 30+ to nothing by knocking off the bowl... RIP... I think it shouldn't be hard to handle them when the bowl fell.

My exact thought the bowl shattered (minor cuts on foot, then a few on fingers from looking) . Couldn't believe I only found 1.
