Mossball / cladophora / gorgone

Post by titelili1910 »

Bonjour à tous, :)

Je vais sauter le pas très prochainement pour transférer mes crevettes enfermées dans une boule écosphère vers un nano aquarium.

Cependant, j’avais plusieurs interrogations :

TRADUCTION :

Good morning everyone, :)

I will take that step very soon to transfer my shrimps locked in an ecosphere ball to a nano aquarium. : wink:

However, I had several questions:

1- Is the mossball recommended by Mustapha the equivalent of a
cladophora? Where are these two different species?

2- I currently have a small gorgon in the ecosphere that I would like
put back in the nano aquarium. Is it advisable? And if so, do you know where
Can we buy more?

Thanks for your future answers

Mustafa has stated that his mossball is a unique brackish variation that appeared spontaneously in his tanks. It is not a marimo moss ball. They are slow growing and reproduce by budding. If you want one, I would just buy one from him to make sure you don't accidentally pollute your tank with a species that will slowly die in the brackish water.

Not sure what a gorgon is, besides the mythical Greek creatures  Is it a plant? Can you post a pic?

Edited to say: Anything that was already in the ecosphere should be safe to include in the new tank.

Good evening @super Jess, thank you for taking the time to answer me.
So for the foam ball, I would have liked to buy it but I live in France and there is no delivery so far...
For the gorgon, I attach a picture for you to see what I currently have in the ecosphere.

Just to help. The "gorgon" is a piece of sea fan. Since it hasn't caused any problems in the ecosphere, it certainly won't in a larger container.
