I wish some would grow in mine

Vorteil it looks like you are very successful raising your shrimp, can you share your growing conditions? How much light do your tanks get? Do they receive natural sunlight? Do you feed your shrimp? If so what and how often? It looks like you must have lots of nutrients in the water for the algae to grow so well. Thanks for any info you can give.

Basic care for ll the tanks. LED lights on 8hrs a day with automatic timers. Light cycle comes on after peak electricity hours so around 8pm to 4am. No filter or air. I feed 3 out of 5 tanks. Food is freeze dried spriulina once a month. The high algae is due to the feeding. Salinity is 1.008. There's the biofilm that the opae feed upon but I feel most of it is eaten up based on the large volume of opae in the tank. That's why I've choosen to feed in some of the tanks. Granted there's 2 tanks & 2 jars that I don't feed at all. All my tanks are in the garage so I'm not too concerned with how they look. Jars are in the house near a window.
