Lava rocks has bubbles?

I’ve noticed over the past two weeks that a bubble would float up from the lava rocks.
I purchased them from PetShrimp so I know they are safe. They show up on the lava rocks for a while & then float up.
Is this a normal thing? I hope so.

Yes, that's absolutely normal. Lava rock is very porous, so it takes a while before all the air escapes from it.
