Opae Ula Food by Shrimp Bubble

I have been following the instructions for the past two months and I NEVER see any reaction from my shrimp nor do I see anything in the water or in the biofilm.

Shouldn’t I be seeing some kind of reaction? Or do I have the wrong Opae food?

Hi - I also bought that food. The first time I fed, the shrimps ignored the food and I ended up trying to remove it from the surface so it did not contaminate my tank. I read on this forum that if they ignore the food, there is already enough food in the tank for the shrimps. The second time I fed, about 3 weeks later, once the shrimps figured out it was on the surface, they went crazy for it - I saw more shrimps then ever before. So, though you are not seeing algae, maybe there is enough micro-food that they do not want/need it. Just my thoughts......

I have not seen any reaction at all. I can’t even see the so-called food on the top. I don’t want the biofilm to get nasty with food.
