Just getting started

Hi I'm just getting my tank set up for some of these shrimp bois. It's been my dream for over 10 years when I first saw them in San Francisco in those ecospheres. I'm glad I never bought one and thankful I learned how bad those are. My husband encouraged me to just do it and got me a 1.5 gallon tank for Christmas. This is my tank set up currently. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll get 10-15 shrimp and some snails

Thanks! I'm having way too much fun setting this up lol it's mushroom forest surrounding lava stone mountain ( I have plans to expand the mountain) and opposite end is the desert . I hope the shrimp like it as much as I do.

It is! It was smaller than I expected but so cute and currently fits perfect under the cube.

That is so cool. I had ordered one of the moss balls too a couple of weeks ago. I will post pictures of my tank when it arrives. Do you have your shrimp yet?

No shrimp just yet. Starting to see signs of algae growth now so I'll probably order them next week and some snails too.

I got my shrimp in and I am beyond obsessed they're perfect they seem to be doing well most of them are out grazing and some are already started to redden up again

I did! I have plans to set up a second tank in about 6 months so I figured I'd order it now. Thank you it was a lot of fun decorating the shrimp really seems to like the tank and the snails especially love the glass mushrooms
