For all the customers that have went through the same troubles like I have (in Nov. 2004 discussion), I have had the same problems with them . The only thing good about them are the plants, but I have also found other websites that sell rare plants without any minimum orders. Do not order live animals from them . I have ordered filter feeder clams and a batch of amano shrimps, and most of them are dead already. Half of them were dead when I received it. They are not good in answering their phone calls, never clearing out their voice messages (always full), and quality of their products are not good at all.
i hear that loud and clear, i was so tempted to buy from them too because of their nicely designed site and pretty pictures. are there any other site that sells many ypes of shrimps?
I'm sure you've already looked at Petshrimp.com's store right? ( support this forum by buying! )
You can also try Frank's Aquarium. ( http://www.franksaquarium.com/ ) He has lots of shrimps in stock and he is in the NY area. He's getting a shipment this weekend so check with him if you don't see what you want.
I also sell shrimps but since I'm in Los Angeles, it's not pracitcal to buy from me due to the high cost of shipping.
I read on another site where 2 members had bought SAEs from them, which had almost all died. From what I read, the packaging wasn't what it should have been.
Hi shrimpboyLA,
Do you always have shrimp for sale? I'm in Oregon and it seems like it would be easier on the shrimpies to buy from someone on the West Coast. I bought a 20g tank today to set up as a "mostly" shrimp tank. I'll get in a week or so when there's a pickup available to haul it and the stand home. I'm interested in red cherry shrimp, fan/Singapore/wood shrimp, and amanos. I can usually buy the fan shrimp and amanos locally, but nobody here has heard of the red cherries.

Yes I have shrimps if you need some but I think the most important thing for you to do first is to cycle the tank, plant some plants etc.
It's not a good idea to put shrimps into a brand new tank. Shrimps are much much more sensitive to 'New Tank Syndrome' then fish. You might want to keep some inexpansive fish like feeder gold fish for the first few weeks.
Then again, I don't know how much experience you have in fish keeping so there is a chance that you might already know how to do all that.
If you have any other questions you can simply post them and I'm sure everyone here will gladly help you out. I just sent you a Private Message with my contact information.
