OK Yesterday I decided to transport my red cherries into their new home. I got all of the full grown shrimps in without any casualties, and i managed to net out about a dozen babies, but theres so many more babies hiding at the bottom of the older tank that I can't risk just DUMPING them in or something, first off I don't want the old BLUE rocks in with my new aquascene, second I dont want to risk any deaths.
I guess all I can do is wait a few weeks and let them grow so I can see em better, there has to be another dozen in there...

Turkey Basters are strangely hard to find (Bed, Bath & Beyond didn't have em. How could Bed, Bath & Beyond not have something as simple as a turkey baster?!). Try Safeway. It'll probably be a single hanging rack in the utensils area, generic brand. Cheap, but effective, and strangely, the only turkey basters there. No others from any other companies or such. How utterly strange.
Perhaps a small brine shrimp net, and then a container of water for transferring, so that you do not traumatize them overmuch?
