BLUE TIGER

Post by csmike »

Hi all,

I got a blue (dark blue on body, and orangy tail and head) tiger female. She has eggs with my regular tiger. Is it possible I can do selective breeding on her off spring to get a true blue tiger?

Cheers

you can do anything with selective breeding provided the offspring maintains the traits you are aiming to keep.

I wonder how many generations before I can see most of the offspring in blue?

no idea, but i would imagine it'd take several generations before the trait is maintained (5-6?).
