Hi everyone, here's why we keep shrimp - because they're both interesting and entertaining!

I do apologize to those with slow internet speed; hopefully it loads for you while you go grab a cup of coffee...

Thanks everyone!

Algae feeding day is fun! I keep a small emergency tank running and that's where I throw in plastic plants and ornaments like the FAKE coral to grow algae on. After some growth, I rotate them into the shrimp tank. I like that everyone gets some (even the smaller shrimplets) because it's all spread out.

With cable connection here, it takes about 40 seconds for all the pics to load into full motion (I suspect it's partly the slower speed of the hosting site too, but since it's a freebie site, that's cool). I have no idea how long it takes for 56K-ers if anyone is still even using that?! But thanks for your patience; hope it wasn't too much of a problem.
