Maybe Mustafa or some other members can give me some info.
I have gone through Mustafas pages. It does says they need brackish water for the little shrimps to survive. I am wondering if I have enough infusoria if they might be able to survive in freshwater.
I have a few questions about this interesting shrimp.
1. Do they breed in freshwater?
2. do they belong to the cardina serrata?
3. Do they really go through the larva stage?
Any other info or links to info is appreciated.
Breeding Ninja shrimp - info needed

Infusoria have nothing to do with the fact that the larvae need saltwater to survive. Everything else you are asking is on the ninja shrimp page and I would be just repeating the info again here. If someone sold you shrimp as "ninja shrimp" and they are producing fully developed young in freshwater, then they are not Caridina serratirostris. They are not sold in the US and europe anyway and barely ever outside Japan.
