My intention is to setup an aquarium that reproduces the ecosistem where these shrimps live in the wild.
I wasn't able to find any kind of information on the web and, after some searching, couldn't find it here either. I wonder if anyone can help me with this...
In order to create a similar environment for your shrimps, then u first need to let us know what kind of shrimps u are keeping. Then look up the optimum conditions for those shrimps to trive on. However my guess is that since the shrimps are kept in a close environment (aquarium tank), it is not possible to completely create a similar environment. However, u can get your shrimps to get used to your environment whenever possible for some shrimps, since some need cooler water to trive on.
N. denticulata sinensis live in all kinds of environments including river, lakes, ponds and creeks, with and without aquatic growth. So, maybe you did not choose the right species to create a specific "biotope."
