Hi I'm new to the forums and I have a few questions to ask which i could not find answeres to with the search button.
I am looking to start a tank with otos and Ghost Shrimp. I am looking at a 10 gallon tank. I was wondering if i should put the otos in first for a few weeks, then add the ghost shrimp, of if i should put in the ghost shrimp for a few weeks and then add the otos?
Also... I would like the glass shrimp to breed. However, I have heard that fry need a special food called liquifry. I have also heard on this website, that liquifry is actually too big for glass shrimp fry.
I am also looking to put plants into the tank after the nitrates are established... but I am not sure what plants to put in, or how much nitrate should be in the water before I do this.
Finally, What do I do if the otos breed? Or will they even breed at all?
Thank you for being patient... I hope i dont get flamed.

You need to be patient with this forum. Answers often don't come for a week. Some folks only check in now and then so "nudge" posts won't help you.
I would put neither ottos or ghosts in first. I'd put in snails and let them go with a little fish food for a couple of weeks. You can then put in the ottos and shrimp together. They will get along fine. I've never had ottos breed, so I wouldn't worry.

I didn't use liquifry, I used green water, rotifers and moina.
