What's going on with my shrimp? I attach the picture, On the back it starts to loose its surface as you can see and the 'white' thing is just hanging there. Shrimp can't move normally.
What should I do and what's happening? Sorry for my English...
Yes, it's not the best shot, I know, but you kind aget what's happening, shrimps is loosing its back and there's something hanging on this place, looking like flesh.
Now, I have those shrimps for rather long time now and it's first time something is happening to them.

Your shrimp is, unfortunately, dying. That's fouling tissue that you see in the tail area. You can't really save an animal that's come this far.
The oldest shrimp I have are my amanos who are almost 2 years old....if that happens to the tail what's the best and quickest way to end a shrimp's life?
Thanx for help. I think I can use a bit of alcohol. Freezing fish or shrimps in the freezer is believed to be one of the worst type of killing those animals, as I hear. I still got another one Macrobrachium lanchesteri, these are really good-lookin' shrimps but unfortunately these are not avialable in my town anymore.
Anyway, is it something that comes with age or is it caused by some kind of infection or illness?
Try to get clove oil. It's a good thing to have aroud in situations like this. You can find small expensive ammounts at pharmacies or go to a health food store to get it in larger quantaties. Small doses will just knock out the animal but larger ones will kill it very quickly. I have some around incase my puffers teeth decide to outgrow the puffer and I have to go clippy clippy. I haven't used it for euthanization because I haven't had too yet.
Are any of the other shrimps displaying similar symptoms? The picture does not seem that clear to me, is the "white thing" what used to be the shrimp's tail? Looks like the bottom region of the body is dead from the orangish color, I would not be suprise he is unable to move normally.
