I no longer use carbon in any of my aquariums and I have 150 of them. I do however have a large carbon and sediment filter on my house which makes it fish ready without adding anything to water. I use good old fashion water changes to get rid of anything in tanks.

That is awsome. I wish I could have that many. I'd be setting up a new tank every hour or so if I didn't still live at home

Although i'll have to cut back on my tanks until I get through college, then I can wild, if all gos according to plan
I agree with you on water changes. It seems like water changes are underrated by some people.

I see we use the same method for water changes.
I am putting all of my new tanks on a auto fill / drain system. It saves alot of time.
More time to watch the tanks, instead of cleaning them.
I prefer to do small daily water changes instead of 1 large per week.
With 150 tanks, I hope you have a small pond out back you are trying to fill.
In the summer months, I keep a little water, for my wifes rose's.
It sure help them to grow.

I am working on a system too. But with all the water changes I have to do I do not have time to work on it.
My system will use a rainbird irrigation timer with drip emitters. I bought a glass drill to drill tanks but I also have a pvc drain pipe elbow system I made that automatically drains water when it reaches a certain level. Maybe this winter I will find time to finish it.

This system will do a 15-25% water change per day.
How will your sytem work?
