Color variations of Neocaridina denticulata sinensis??

Post by TKD »

Hi all,

I have a question that has been bugging me for a while.
Why are the color variations of Neocaridina denticulata sinensis the way they are?

Why are a female cherries red and a males clear?
When, I'm assuming, that both sexes in the wild population is a brownie color.

For the blue variation, are both male and female blue or are the males clear like the cherries?

Why would the wild form have the same color for both sexes and the domesticated be different?

Thanks,

TKD

Nobody said, as far as I can remember, that the wild form has the same color for both sexes. The males are still clear.
