ghost shrimp parent!

Today I noticed that my largest (evidently female) ghost shrimp was laden with about 15-30 eggs! Does this mean that the female had to have mated? And because the mating took place in my tank does this mean the larvae will live in freshwater? She is being held in an established, well planted 75g tank- anything special I should do?
