HELP!!! CHERRY SHRIMP DISEASE!!!

help.. my cherries are dying... and i noticed that they have white spots on their bodies and legs... is this a disease.. btw.. does anyone know where to get a cherry shrimp disease faq...!!!!

Hi shermans,

Have you actually lost any shrimp or you just think they are dying? Can you post a pic of the white spots on the cherry shrimp?

I'm assuming the tank was fully cycled before you added the shrimp, you're using dechlorinator to treat the tap water and always using water drawn out of the tank to clean filter sponges.

Click the search option above and type in something like cherry shrimp disease and see if it helps you out.

If you click shrimp varieties on the left it gives some info about all species...just click cherry shrimp.

hum...one of my shrimp had some white thing stuck in it's claw which was dragging it done...dunno if that's related...i ended up pulling the shrimp out after a day and removing the white thing..
